Circus + Carnival=Normalcy

This weekend I saw the dance show, went to Blockheads accompanied by five entrancing gay young gentleman, visited the Natural History Museum, Jason took me to the Big Apple Circus, AND I went to Carnival, a pretty decent club near Union Square (I'm spoiled with the bananas Las Vegas clubs). The only picture I took at Carnival would be the last one in which Krista and Jason were makin' out. I'll drink to that...and I did.

It's Almost Here...

The weeeeeekend (literally weeping while I say that)...What a week. Oy. One more paper, a callback, and two or maaaaybe three class performances left till I get to plop my pretty little self down tomorrow night at Blockheads for some chips, salsa, and most importantly, MARGARITAS (plural plural plural). You can be sure that I will be updating you regularly on the rest of the weekend's random acts of leisure. *I will spare you the gruesome details of three paper and one presentation Sunday.

Epic Saturday=Lazy Sunday

There is nothing I love more than an unplanned, unattached, pleasing New York Saturday full of friends and shenanigans. Highlights of the day: display jars full of jewels at Madewell, Topshop buy one, get one FREE sale, Radio City and Rockefeller Center (coaxing people to do tricks and fall on the ice) with Jason and his friend Dana who came in from Boston, and wine/lady talk with Rachel after work. Not pictured: The people I met along the way, a basket of fries at O'Lunney's Pub, and Rachel's pillow around 4 am.

Going Under

This is the response to my paper proposal I turned in for my Great Social Thinkers class. If you know me, you know that the mere thought of this class puts me in a state of misery. Apparently, when signing up for the course I didn't realize one had to have taken a sociology class previously. WHO THE HECK LET ME DO THIS? However, I DO love that she used the word "absolutely" in all her disdain.
