Ok, I’ll admit…I was never really fond of Helena Bonham Carter. Come on, her outer appearance would lead anyone to believe she was some kind of witch lady. She wore two different colored shoes at the Golden Globes. I mean, WHY FOR?! But tonight was the fateful night that I, Molly Rose, would now join Team Helena. Tonight I watched Conversations With Other Women. I’ve waited so long to see it because Netflix told me I would only like it 2.8 much, so I shyed away from it until I saw it mentioned on tumblr today. I liked it way more than 2.8 much!

Carter is completely captivating (and not at all witch lady looking) as this bad ass who has learned to accept the marriage in which she has trapped herself. Though there are a few slight said moments of regret, the moments are shortlived as she snaps back into the tangible reality of the life she now lives. She’s such the independent…such the heartbreaker…perfect. And for that matter, Aaron Eckhart, you won my approval tonight as well. Till now I thought you were just Catherine Zeta-Jones’ sous-chef in that one movie my mom watches all the time, insisting it’s “so good” and you’re ”so hot.” Whatever, Mom. He’s so much more than that. Still, Carter stole my girly heart in Conversations With Other Women, which I definitely, definitely recommend you all creep on.
