Tonight I watched Delicatessen. It was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet who also directed Amelie. Therefore, the cinematography was obviously beautiful and quirky. His style is such like a painting. Really colorful. Somehow, this film reminded me of Mouse Hunt? Nathan Lane, anyone? I’m not belittling the film, I’m just saying creaky floor board house…lots of chasing shenanigans. Not my favorite story, but I’m still on the Jean-Pierre train. A Very Long Engagement, you’re next.
